French fries are one of the easiest, most delicious ways to enjoy Doug + Lily's custom made black + white C+K Truffle Salt.
BAKED FRENCH FRIES
When you're ready to cook the turkey, rinse it in cool water, and then pat dry.
Roast your turkey as you usually would! Be sure to check in on your turkey early and often as the brined turkey can cook more quickly. Once your turkey registers at least 165°F in the breast meat and thighs, then it’s done. Add a side dish of the extra sea salt and brush with butter or other spices.
Enjoy!
I’ve found that brined turkeys tend to cook a little more quickly than un-brined turkeys, so I recommend starting to check the internal temperature of your turkey about an hour before the predicted cooking time is over.

Note: Roasting garlic in olive oil like this transforms it from sharp and pungent to a buttery, mellow, melt-in-your-mouth confit. The flavors blend beautifully with the tomatoes and onion.

Note: You can use green or white asparagus in this recipe as well, however purple tends to be a little sweeter and nuttier in flavor. It also adds some depth in color for a visual treat! Please also note that your cook time may vary based on the thickness of the asparagus.

Apple Pie
1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust (use your favorite pie crust recipe for a single crust)
5-6 cups apples, peeled and thinly sliced
1 tbsp Cornstarch
⅔ cup White sugar
½ tsp SalterieOne North Blend
¼ tsp Nutmeg
¼ tsp Allspice
Streusel Crunch Topping
½ cup Butter (1 stick), melted
¾ cup Flour
¼ tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp SalterieOne North Blend
½ cup Brown sugar, packed
½ cup Panko flakes
¼ cup Oats (old-fashioned or quick)
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 425˚.
2. For apple filling, place sliced apples in bowl. Combine cornstarch, sugar, SalterieOne North Blend, nutmeg, and allspice and mix well. Add to apples and toss until apples are evenly coated.
3. Pour apple mixture into unbaked pie crust and distribute evenly. Put a square of aluminum foil so it sits lightly on top of pie. Bake at 425˚ for 10 minutes.
4. For streusel topping, combine all ingredients and mix well. Stir with fork to make mixture loose and crumbly.
5. Remove pie from oven and remove foil covering. Reduce oven temperature to 350˚.
6. Using fingers, crumble streusel over top of pie, covering pie evenly and generously with topping. Return pie to 350˚ oven and bake 30-35 minutes more until streusel is lightly browned.

Note: A sprinkle of SalterieOne’s West Blend on top of the finished eggs is delicious for those who want a saltier treat! If you are serving these at a party, consider leaving a spoon Jar of West Blend next to the platter so that your guests can add more at their own discretion. Enjoy!
